TASK 3 - WWW LESSON PLAN

GOING ON HOLIDAY

LEVEL: Form 2
TIME: 30 - 40 Minutes
AIMS: To find and compare information from videos in order to make decision.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: One computer per group of 3 students with an Internet Connection and a Web Browser.

PREPARATION:

1. Locate videos on Youtube regarding tour holidays in different places/countries.
2. Check sites before lesson.

PROCEDURE:

1. Ask students about their dream holiday destination and the reasons they choose such destination.
2. Ask students to get in groups of 3 and surf the videos in Youtube for holiday tour in any cities in this world.
3. Tell the students in each group to pick one city for each person and search for the main attractions of the city.
4. After they have found the attractions of the city they have chosen, ask them to write the city they chose and the main attractions of the city on the worksheet given.
5. After that, ask students to discuss about all 3 cities they have chosen in their respective groups and pick one city that all 3 of them thinks as the best.
6. Ask the students to justify the reasons they picked for that particular city over the other cities on the same worksheet.
7. Students can present the discussion outcome to the class.
